15th Weinakademiker-Workshop – 21 – 22 September 2018 in Geisenheim

The topic of Friday afternoon lectures will focus on “Fungus resistant grape varieties”. This programme organized by Geisenheim University will be followed by a tasting of “Große Gewächse” of VDP Pfalz and dinner at Schloss Schönborn.
On Saturday early morning the Club of Weinakademiker in Germany will hold its traditional annual assembly. Late morning the first of three master classes will focus on “Amarone” with Andrea Tella,oenologist from Masi. This will be followed by the session “The Greek Triangle: Modern, Classy, Diverse“ with Dimitris Grizas from Tsantali. Finally the international star grape geneticist Dr. José Vouillamoz will take us back to the origin and parentage of grapes with a special emphasis on Swiss grape varieties.
